In Slovenia, a kilometre and a half from Kamnik under Krim, between the hills of St. Ana and St. Lovrenc, the settlement Jezero is situated. By it lies a small, almost completely round lake (maximum depth 51 m), supplied by seven karst springs under the nearby forest.
During summer a small bath is organized on the lake and fishing is also possible.
Lake Podpeč is a small, but in many ways a unique natural gem, well known for holding a variety of different fish species. It offers fishing for large common carp, pike, chub, tench, and perch, as well as huge silver carp. It is suitable for winter fishing as it rarely freezes over. A cosy lakeside restaurant offers tasty Slovenian food. (http://www.visitljubljana.com/en/activities/nature-active-holidays/522/poidetail.html)
